About AMPM Futures
A development venture built on experience and partnership.
Before a hub can feed a region or power a town, it must be carefully developed: the concept, the structure, the partnerships and the path to bankability. This is the work AMPM Futures does for Africa.
01 The name & the mark
A quill, and an inspiration.
AMPM carries an inspiration: more time, more life for people in Africa. Unlocking acceleration in development impact that brings the future into the present. It is also a working philosophy: development is a full-day, full-cycle discipline.
The feather quill in our mark stands for careful, patient preparation. Every project that changes a place begins with that work, carried through by people committed to seeing it through.
02 The story
Founded to address a pattern we had watched for years.
Founded in 2019, AMPM Futures set out to address a pattern its founders had watched for decades: Africa does not lack resources, people or capital. It lacks projects structured well enough for the three to meet.
Between 2019 and 2022, designing the Cape Verde Fishery & Agri-Tunnel PPP, the team built what became the Integrated Production Hub Model. Since then the model has been applied and refined across Zambian agriculture, Namibian livestock and Cameroonian renewable energy.
03 Vision & mission
Communities that own and shape their economic futures.
Integrate & innovate
Develop market activities from local to regional levels through technology innovation across priority sectors: agriculture and food systems, fisheries and aquaculture, renewable energy, water, digital infrastructure, minerals, logistics and emerging technologies.
Build economic community hubs
Processing infrastructure, digital management platforms, skills development programmes, cooperative participation models and export market linkages, combined into hubs that anchor regional economies.
Enable community ownership
Training and capacity building, enterprise development, cooperative structures and inclusive employment, so that communities participate directly in the development they host.
04 The founders & core team
